This December, Saugus Residents are Taking a Winter Walk on the Stunning Trails of the State Park.
With many events and tours canceled this year due to the pandemic, why not take a trip to one of the Boston area's stunning state parks. The Breakheart Reservation has a strong reputation for outdoor activities, including Kayaking, Boating, Swimming, and Mountain Biking. The Breakheart Visitors Center is open through December and January, which features function rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms. There is a wide variety of terrain here, making the state park an ideal location for walking trails with the kids or taking out the mountain bikes. Find out more about the unique courses and sites by visiting the Breakheart Reservation via Saugus' government website. Weekend activities, including camping, are frequently available by checking in with the visitors center.
