Woburn Widespread Commercial Water Damage
A major controlled demolition was needed in a Woburn office building with commercial water damage. The carpet got saturated and the water wicked into the sheetrock on several walls before SERVPRO arrived for the restoration services. Several areas within the medical office received the effects and the ruined sheetrock needed removal using a common method called “flood cuts” as seen in the After Photo. Once the walls were opened, the techs placed containment over the cut-away portions and ran their drying equipment for nearly two days to completely dry the interior. Afterward, they cleaned the surfaces using their professional quality sanitizing cleaning agents and used air quality improvement equipment such as air scrubbers to help capture the vapor and airborne particulate.
