Water Damage in Saugus

Our SERVPRO team arrived quickly to help our Saugus neighbor when a pipe burst in the attic crawlspace. We're Faster To Any Size Disaster; we proudly stand by our motto. As shown in the Before Photo, the water-soaked overhead apron and adjoining walls could not be salvaged, so we performed a controlled demolition. We neatly removed and discarded the sheetrock and then dried the exposed walls and framing using our advanced equipment. We checked the hollow cells of the cinder block exterior wall to ensure that we reached correct moisture levels. A WRT water damage restoration technician also probed the above framing with a sensor. After applying an antimicrobial product to inhibit the growth of mold, and installing a new clear vapor barrier on the treated wall, the build back could begin.
